One of the main goals for starting Vortex Volleyball Club in 2017 was to provide an opportunity for boys to play volleyball in the Davis and Weber county areas. We have had boys team every year. We have a passion for growing the boys volleyball community in our local area, and we can't wait to see what this season brings! High School Volleyball is finally a high school sanctioned sport. We are proud to have been a small part in supporting this growing sport for young men in Utah!
Vortex Volleyball Club Boys Season Tryouts 2024
Cost is $25 if you pre-register online by July 6th, $30 day of or at the door.
Age group is how old the athlete will be on July 1st 2025.
Ages 12u-15u Thursday July 18th @ 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Ages 16u-18u Friday July 19th @ 9:00 AM -11:00 PM
Doors will open 1 hour before your tryout time to check-in. Be checked in and warmed up by your tryout time.
Club Season Details
July to November
Includes Tournament Fees, Jerseys, team building activities, and Vortex Swag.
1.5 hour court time plus 30 mins training 2x a week,Combo of 1-3 one day tournaments & 1-3 two day tournaments . Some 14s, 16s, 18s teams may be invited to one more tournament with an additional fee.
All clinics, tryouts and season practices will be held at F5 Athletics:

A deposit of $400 is due upon registration. This fee will enable the club to reserve my child's spot on the team and register my child to play for club tournaments and order uniforms.

PLUS - we have a Club Prep program for boys 6-15 to start learning the fundamental skills.
Boys 8-12 are encouraged to join a co-ed club prep class with a Volleylite ball. Beginner boys 12-15 can join Thursdays 4-5 pm all boys club prep with Mens regulation volleyball. Click HERE to register for the class that best fits.
